Finished the blankie for Polly!!

Finally finished the blanket for Polly!!! :) Check it out!

Here it is folded, but you can see the super cute fleece printed fabric and the rainbow border really well in this picture.

The picture below shows the underside of the blanket. It is really beautiful satin-like material. It looks great!


The blanket ended up being 30 1/2 in x 33 1/2 in. It is perfect for that small dog that loves to snuggle up into a blanket (like my little foster dog Bean does!!).
The fabric cost quite a bit since it was purchased at a local store. For customized pet beds it will be more expensive since I have to go out and purchase more materials. I will be heading to LA to get fabric and hopefully that will reduce some of my costs. People have also been asking that I make beds with zippers with a pull off cover. This will increase costs as well. I am still trying to figure this process out so it's easy to order a pet bed or blanket. If anyone has some pointers please let me know!!


I sewed some black yard and tied it into knots to keep the two fabrics from seperating in washing. It came out really cute. It's not a choking hazard since the ends are so short. It makes the blanket look cute and homemade.
