Photo Shoot Take 1

Well, I needed someone to take some pictures of me and my pups for my website, just to get it started. My bff's sis did it for me and we had a blast (thanks Michelle, I love ya)! The sun didn't really cooperate with us, or we didn't know what we were doing, so we're planning a take-2 soon. In the meantime, we did have some favorites. Check them out and let me know what you think! You can see all of the photos on my Healthy Bite Dog Treats fan page on Facebook too!

This is Otto, our purebred Australian Cattle Dog also known as a Queensland Heeler. He is wonderful and I love him! We adopted him soon after he failed his tests to become a bomb squad dog. During the test another dog found the bomb and Otto nipped him out if jealousy. (If you have a Heeler you know what I am talkin about!) Anyhoo, he is amazing with our 2 boys and I want another Heeler!

This little guy is Bean. He is our foster pup and he is a little over one year old. He is available for adoption and he has the best personality. He is more like a cat, but I get a lot of people who have small dogs who told me he would be. He was given up by his previous owners when they lost their house. It was a very sad situation and thankfully he was taken care of. He was given up along with two other small dogs and you could tell he was the more timid of the bunch. When we opened the crate he bolted and ran all over the stadium we were at (we were at a pet expo in Pomona, where they were dropped off). We finally caught him and my heart just went out to the little guy. I brought him home and we have been working on his issues to help balance him out (as Cesar Millan would say). He is really smart and easy to train. He responds well to Cesar's training techniques and I love it!

This is Fiona. My parents adopted her from the rescue I foster Bean from. She is so cute and if you have read my previous blog you know she is a spoiled princess. She was left in a dessert to die when her previous owners decided she wasn't worth keeping. She has the best energy about her and she loves to play. She is so smart too! My parents taught her to give high fives, to shake and many other commands. You would never guess that she was abandoned and left to die! Her story truly is amazing. She loves to run too which I think is great since Otto is too fat to run with me (which we are workin on changing!).
